At the Contract Vote meeting on Monday, August 26, the NESPA membership ratified a new 2 year contract by a vote of 94% in favor. THANK YOU to the NESPA Bargaining Team and to all of the NESPA members who participated in this effort.
The new contract includes pay increases, including a new Step 6 and 10, and an increase for substitutes. The contract describes the uses of early release, offers collaboration with the administration on professional development, improvements in the transfer process, and more. Details will be posted soon, and the new contracts will be printed within the next few weeks.
